Goldie Blox™

Goldie Blox™

So. Cool.

"GoldieBlox offers a much-needed female engineer role model who is smart, curious and accessible. She has the potential to get girls interested in engineering, develop their spatial skills and build self-confidence in their problem solving abilities. This means that GoldieBlox will nurture a generation of girls who are more confident, courageous and tech-savvy, giving them a real opportunity to contribute to the progress made by engineers in our society."

What an amazing looking toy! I think it is so true that women have to step up to make the world more in their image. I hope she gets a lot of buyers. We are planning to test it out even though we have boys. Maybe my 8 month old niece will enjoy it some day!

(Naveen might need to be a tad older. It's rated for age 8 and older, but Sunil might be right there.)

The link above is what you might call a "Lego Kit" for an electronic circuit board.

And there's a bunch of other things on this site, for kids of all ages!
