Josh Tryon, a member of my UU faith community, was hospitalized for bipolar disorder in December 2009 and was well on his way to recovery until he was transferred to CT Valley Hospital in March 2010. They stopped his medications & therapies and have refused to treat him for the past fourteen months. They will not allow him to be transferred to another hospital. The family has no legal recourse because it is a state hospital and the state Rep and Senator are being ignored by the hospital.

Please, if you would, sign the petition to appeal to Governor Malloy to let Josh transfer out of this nightmare.
