Don't eat wheat?

Now that I think about it, I got the same type of headache after I ate the same type of meal last night, too. So, it's either the Diet Coke or the bread, and my money's on the bread causing the headache. And the massive sleepiness. (I wasn't sleepy before lunch.)

But Martin's Potato bread is my favorite bread in the whole wide world! It's made in PA on Potato Roll Lane! *whines*

Ingredients are: enriched wheat flour, nonfat milk, potato flour, yeast, sugar, wheat gluten, soybean oil, salt, sugar, butter, dough conditioners, monocalcium phosphate, calcium propionate, soya flour, guar gum, enzymes, Yellow #5 and #6 food coloring.

Good idea, eliminating it.

I think it will be easier for me to avoid wheat than Diet Coke. It was unusual for me to have bread in the house, but a bigger issue is that there's wheat in so much that I actually do eat. Still easier than dropping the Diet Coke (I know, sad.)

But, I was able to drop the fast food entirely - I adapted well to that and that had some totally unexpected benefits (like not waking up starving in the middle of the night anymore).

Hmm. I have to figure out how to do this. I have a lot of pasta in the house, but I also do have some rice and quinoa.

I had another sandwich last night - without the Diet Coke - and I got the headache again. Lasted most of the night. Woke up fine this morning. Unscientifically guessing that it was the bread.
